Sara Kate on: Packing for the pool
Summer is pretty much my favorite time of year. Whether it’s a day at the pool with girlfriends or a trip to the coast for some much-needed sun and sand with the family, I’m a happy camper. Last weekend, the girls and I were set on an afternoon at the pool. After throwing on my favorite suit and coverup, the majority of my pack list was simple: my shades, turkish towel, a cooler full of ice cold brews and a cute platter stacked with juicy watermelon. However, one item that proved to be a bit of challenge to pack was my watermelon raft. Y’all, it’s super cute. I couldn’t just leave it behind. Note to self: blow up raft after arriving at your final destination. So after more time and effort put into transporting the raft than I’m willing to admit, we were ready for a snack. Yep, didn’t even make it out of the driveway. It was hilarious. And of course we had to document the whole thing, because why not?
Cheers to the start of summer adventures!
