Whew, What a Tent Sale!

Wed, October 27, 2010

I cannot tell you how excited we are over the success of the giant Coton Colors’ Tent Sale. I felt so blessed by the turn out of people and your excitement over our products.

I know you were getting terrific bargains but it was way more than that…

Thank you for coming.

Thanks to those early birds who greeted us when we arrived well before opening time.

Thanks to those who danced, sang karaoke and brought treats.

Thanks to all of you who came back many times each day.

Thanks for having fun with us!

It was such a joy getting to know you all, seeing new faces and reconnecting with past Coton Colors’ customers. I remember your support of the first Coton Colors’ products I made over 20 years ago. Children’s tie dyed and hand painted dresses, t shirts and leggings. It was fun seeing those children who were just babies back then, telling me that they wear them now during throw back days during high school homecoming week.

Thank you, Tallahassee, for the steadfast support you have given me over the years along with the inspiration and confidence to start my own business. Your support allowed me to move my business out of my garage and into three warehouses. To employ, over the years, more than 100 creative, hard working people. Your enthusiasm gave me the confidence to open Coton Colors’ wholesale showrooms in Dallas and Atlanta, operate two retail stores and design thousands of products. Your support continues to allow me manufacture and sell our products all over the world. Your support continues to make my company successful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Our goal for the sale was to clean out our warehouses to make room for fun new products. I write this on a plane that is taking me to China now to review new designs. I just can’t wait to show you. Thank you all for helping us achieve our goal. I trust you found some treasures and I hope you had as much fun as we did.

Thank you, Tallahassee!  I am so proud.
