Meryl K and her Mom Melanie at the 2009 Race for the Cure
Meryl K Walker (left), long time employee of Coton Colors, lost her beloved mother Melanie (right) last March after a courageous eight year battle with Metastatic Breast Cancer.
Melanie’s fight was an inspiration to us all at Coton Colors as she faced each day with eternal hope and unquestioned faith. Melanie Walker was a cherished daughter, beloved wife, adored mother, devoted sister, proud grandmother, inspirational teacher, and dear friend.
Melanie was racing for the cure in life, and inspires us to continue her efforts to put an end to Breast Cancer. We are so “happy” to be supporting this amazing cause during the month of October, and encouraging the celebration of survival and further research with sales from the Happy Everything Pink Ribbon Attachment and Believe, Hope, Pray Ornament. Be sure to check out our pretty pink logo on our website and join us in fighting Breast Cancer as we Think Pink this month!
