Start the year off right with a New Year’s resolution! Here’s the formal definition: a commitment that an individual makes to a project or the reforming of a habit, often a lifestyle change that is generally interpreted as advantageous. Sounds like fun, right?!?
I have set all sorts of resolutions over the years and have kept very few of them. Unfortunately, statistics aren’t in our favor to succeed. Recent research shows that while 52% of American’s set a resolution goal, only 12% actually achieve their goals. Dang, only 12%?!?
I’ve heard it said that New Year’s resolutions are a bit like babies: They’re fun to make but extremely difficult to maintain. Guess it’s really true. Ha!
I’d love to know what your resolutions are this year. Maybe it will inspire me to set one of my own. Share them with me on the blog and you could win a 2011 ornament!! Just leave a comment and we’ll pick a winner on New Year’s Day.
Don’t worry, you don’t have to keep the resolution, just have very good intentions…
