Laura On: What’s on My Calendar this Month
The thankful month is in full swing. What was a calming and organizing October is now a busy and on-the-go November. Of the 30 days in November, I will be home for a mere 5 of them. As exhausting as it sounds, it means we have big things going on around here that are worth celebrating.
We recently announced some huge news. My niece, Taylor, and her husband, Thomas, are opening our Atlanta Coton Colors Flagship Store! Our families share a characteristic where we like to make the impossible possible. Opening a third flagship store is a huge undertaking on its own, but we decided to do it in a matter of weeks. I am so proud of Taylor and cannot wait to watch her in this new role. Follow along on Instagram, and we will keep you updated on the Grand Opening. You are all invited!
As if opening a store weren’t enough, we are also attending an amazing, weeklong retail show in Houston, The Houston Ballet Nutcracker Market. We’ve been at the Houston Nutcracker for well over 10 years now. It has become quite the family tradition! Oh, the stories we have to tell of driving the massive truck from Florida to Texas. With all the devastation there this year, we are anxious to get back and bring a little happy with us.
Between Atlanta, Houston, and a handful of holiday signing events, my calendar is bursting at the seams. We will, of course, be celebrating Thanksgiving at home. We have so much to be thankful for. I hope you all find yourselves surrounded by loved ones this season.
