Kyle On: Inspiration Behind Neutral Nouveau

Fri, April 7, 2017

Nouveau; something modern, new, recently created or, the perfect name for our newest Kitchen + Home color palette! We paired the unexpected mix of cool grays and warm tans to create a collection that effortlessly fits into so many homes; it’s the “New Neutral.”

The Neutral Nouveau color palette has many new additions, including a new five-piece place setting! When designing this new line, I kept my mom’s original cobble pattern in mind, but gave it a modern twist by making her classic dots smaller, and incorporating ruffles {read my mom’s inspiration behind Coton Colors ruffles here}.

The small dots you see on our new Cobble place settings are carried into many of our new serveware and home décor pieces! These new serving pieces {you can shop them here} are so unique due to the unexpected pairing of gray and tan, pushing the boundaries of the standard beige and white “neutral”.
