Kyle On: An Easy {But Show Stopping} Thanksgiving Table

Mon, November 14, 2016

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, but honestly it’s not just mine, my entire family looks forward to this holiday each year. Our family’s Thanksgivings are rich in tradition and filled with the best memories… you can read about each person’s favorite memories in the latest copy of Toast, our newest lifestyle publication by Coton Colors (get your copy here).

Each of us has our own set of responsibilities when it comes to preparing for our Thanksgiving meal - mine is to design and set the table. Each year, I come up with a different color palette and mix of textures and materials to tell a story that is carried throughout each table (the number of tables has multiplied each year with our growing family!). This year will be one of the simplest to create. I hand-painted gold metallic pattern on a plain dropcloth I had on hand to use as the tablecloth, then cut magnolia leaves from the trees in my backyard and added bosc pears to create a simple yet stunning centerpiece. I love how the greenery looks when paired with our Neutral Dining & Entertaining Pieces.

Stay tuned to see the finished product for this year’s Thanksgiving Celebration and don’t forget to tag #ccsetsthetable in your Thanksgiving Table photos!
