Help us celebrate the ‘birth’ of The Happy Everything Cookbook!

Sun, September 11, 2011

Happy Monday everyone!  I am so excited to share another sneak peek of The Happy Everything Cookbook with you! When determining what events we wanted to include in the book, I knew we had to have a birthday party. Birthday’s have always been special at my house and have inspired many Coton Colors products over the years. The Summer Birthday Barbeque section is one of my favorites in the cookbook, full of classic recipes that have been revisited for a new twist on the traditional.

Since my Mother is the person who instilled a love of birthdays in me, I thought it fitting to feature her birthday in the cookbook. She has been so influential in my life {and consequently my career} and I always look forward to celebrating her special day every year. Love you Mom!

As you know, you can’t have a birthday party without a birthday cake, and this chapter doesn’t disappoint. Susie created the most amazing Chocolate Chocolate Cake and garnished it with fresh pink peonies. {By the way, that wasn’t a typo, the cake is chocolate and so is the frosting thus Chocolate Chocolate Cake!} Wouldn’t you’d like a little taste right now? Well, you’re in luck! You can find the recipe on the  website. Yum!

In honor of the “birth” of The Happy Everything Cookbook this November, I’d like to give you all a birthday present!  With all pre-orders of the Cookbook we will be including a Happy Birthday Door Plaque for FREE! Simply enter coupon code: BIRTHDAY at checkout when you pre-order your book! Hurry and get yours now, offer ends this Saturday, September 17th!
