Something Blue: A Delicious Blueberry Cocktail Recipe
When it comes to wedding planning, we’ve all heard the saying, “something borrowed and something blue.” So why not incorporate that tradition into your next bridal ornament shower! Having a signature cocktail at any gathering is a fun way to make your event stand out, and it keeps you from playing bartender all night long. For your next soiree, try one of our favorite blueberry cocktail recipes adapted from Craft and Cocktails. We’ve gone ahead and tripled the recipe to ensure you have plenty for all your guests.
Blueberry Basil Lemon Gin & Tonic
- 12 oz gin (Laura’s favorite is Monkey 47!)
- 36 oz Fever Tree Natural Light Tonic Water
- 1.5 oz lemon juice
- 48 blueberries, muddled + a few more for garnish
- 24 medium basil leaves
- 18 lemon slices
If you’re serving cocktails individually, make sure to chill your glasses 30 minutes prior to serving. If you would like your guests to serve themselves, prepare this recipe in your canister of choice.
Add ice, whole blueberries, basil and lemon slices to your canister or glasses. Muddle blueberries into a large cocktail shaker and add in lemon juice and gin. Strain into glasses or canister and add tonic water. Stir before serving.
